Bardic Tales and
Sage Advice Bardic Tales and Sage Advice is a collection of sixteen short stories and poems written by authors from eleven countries. And like all such anthologies it is a wonderful resource for exploring new authors and what they have to offer. Bardic Tales and Sage Advice is not a disappointment in this regard for the stories contained within vary from the fantastical to science fiction. And nearly all leave you wanting more. This however is where some of the problems rest. Several of the stories leave the reader wanting much more and desiring more of closure of the tale. These stories leave many questions unanswered, perhaps too many questions. But in some respects this is a good thing, for the writer has crafted a tale so engrossing that leaving the reader wanting more is a sure sign of a story well told. The formatting of Bardic Tales and Sage Advice had some minor issues. Though nothing terribly annoying and certainly nothing that should stop you from purchasing and enjoying this worthy collection. And that's the real truth here; that Bardic Tales and Sage Advice is well worth the purchase price. You, the reader, most certainly will be taken to fantastical thought provoking places that will leave you wondering What if? Gloomwing Review by David W. Hoffman Pages: 136 Hardcover ($21.99) available at http://www.lulu.com/content/189518 |
